Black and white aerial view of Lake Issarlès, the deepest (138 m) and largest (92 hectares) in central France, surrounded by hills and villages. Reverse: printed text describing the lake, 8 franc postal stamp 'La Vallée de la Vézère' canceled in Ardèche on 10-8-1956, handwritten address to Mr. and Mrs. Dubos in Mâcon, sender's signature Jacqueline, and note 'Photographie Véritable Reproduction Interdite'.
