Description

Black-and-white view of the abbey perched on a promontory at the edge of the lake, with a castle and a tower in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 13/5/1966, sent from Aix-en-Savoie, and printed text stating that the abbey was founded by Saint Bernard around 1125 and restored in 1843. French postage stamp of 20 centimes canceled in Chambéry.
