Description

Panoramic view of the lake and the hospice of the Great Saint-Bernard (2472 m) at the foot of snow-capped mountains, including the Gd. Combin (4317 m) and the Mt. Vélán (3765 m). The reverse features a handwritten letter dated February 1909, sent from Saint-Émilion, mentioning an expedition to Switzerland and undeveloped photographs.
