Description

Picturesque view of Lake Maggiore in Baveno, with red-roofed buildings, a stone quay, and moored boats, in front of snow-capped mountains. On the reverse, an Italian postcard dated April 17, 1942, sent from Baveno to Madame M. Delafotte in Toulouse, with two Italian stamps (50 centesimi and 20 centesimi) and a cancellation stamp 'MACCABANDO'.
