Description

Panoramic view of Niederlahnstein with the Lahnstein Castle dominating a wooded hill above the Lahn River. The printed text at the top reads 'Lahneck mit Lahnstein' and 'The Rhine' is mentioned at the bottom left. The reverse side contains a handwritten letter dated Friday 15.2.46, addressed to 'Dear Nénette', describing the scene and mentioning a bridge over the Rhine and the Lahn River. A postmark is visible at the bottom right.
