Description

View of the castle in Aigle, Orne, whose main facade dates from 1680 to 1730. The printed text indicates that it was built in the 12th century by Fulbert de Beine, rebuilt after the wars with England. On the reverse, the publisher is identified as Collection E. Pauget, and the postcard is addressed to Mr. former worker at the Boisthorel factory, with a green 1.50 franc stamp and a cancellation mark from Aube.
