Description

Postcard illustrating the castle of Angeais, a historic monument of imposing construction with machicolated towers, built around 1450. The printed text relates its history, including the construction of the chapel in the 17th century and ownership by the Bellay family. The reverse features a handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Monsieur Faneletto' in 'Doux Louvain' and an address to 'Monsieur Marylouise'.
