Description

Postcard showing the east façade of the Langeais Castle, built around 1465 by order of Louis XI and Jean Bourrée, where the marriage of King Charles VIII with Anne of Brittany was celebrated in 1491. Reverse: handwritten text addressed to Bernard Chapron in Orléans, 2.50 franc postage stamp, and cancellation mark from Stains-sur-Chérim dated November 16, 1907.
