View of the Langeais Castle, a 15th-century historic monument built by Jean Bourré, where the marriage of Charles VIII and Anne of Brittany took place in 1491. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated July 7, 1916, sent from Tours, with a 1916 postmark and a cancellation from Tours-Château-Loire.
