View of the Langeais Castle, with its drawbridge and monumental entrance. Printed text on the front indicates its construction around 1465 by order of Louis XI and Jean Bourrée, as well as the celebration of the marriage of Charles VIII and Anne of Brittany on December 24, 1491. The back features the publisher's inscription 'L'Art des Arts Photomécaniques à Metz' and the serial number 'LL 7'.
