Description

Sepia reproduction of the famous painting 'The Angelus' by Jean-François Millet, depicting a couple of peasants praying in a field. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1904, addressed to 'Dear Malice', expressing wishes for health and happiness, with a reference to the artwork. The reverse also bears the inscription 'Not all foreign countries accept mail on the front. Inquire at the post office.'
