View of a monumental fountain in Langres, with a woman in a long dress standing near a pond. The publisher 'Librairie Mathieu' is printed at the bottom. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated October 17, addressed to Madame M. Bélier in Metz, with a partially obliterated postmark from Langres.
