View of the New Gate in Langres, dated 1855, with a rider in the foreground and a French 15-centime postmark. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Monsieur de Paris' with a postmark from Reubais (Nord) dated 22 February 1921, and mention of the publisher 'Neurquin Frères, Imp. Créteil'.
