Description

Black-and-white view of the village of Lantosque nestled in a mountainous valley, with the Rivet stream below. The printed text at the bottom indicates '1409. LANTOSQUE and the Rivet'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 28, 1910, addressed to Mr. Paul Dozol in Aix-les-Bains, mentions the beauty of the village and the intention to send him photos. The 10-centime postage stamp is canceled in Lantosque on August 28, 1910.
