Description

View of the Palace of Justice in Laon, former 12th-century episcopal palace, with a metal grille and an old car in front of the entrance. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated September 12, 1939, addressed to Madame Jeanne in Chery-les-Torilly, mentioning a vacation in Paris and an appointment scheduled for the 19th. A postmark is affixed at the top right.
