Description

Sepia-toned view of a canal bordered by trees and a small boat, with the inscription 'LARDY (S.-et-O.)' and 'The Banks of the Juine'. On the reverse, handwritten text says 'From my short stay I send my best regards to all' and an address to 'Mr. and Mrs. Detollenaire, 22 rue de la Gaille, Montmorency (Seine et Oise)'. A French 50-centime postmark is affixed at the top right.
