Bust portrait of Laure, a woman of letters, in profile, wearing a floral-patterned dress, holding a book. Printed text at the bottom: 'Born in Avignon in 1310, married Hugues de Sade in 1335. Périraque first saw her on April 6, 1337, at the Église Sic-Claire in Avignon. She died in 1348.' Reverse: French postmark from 1949, cancellation from VILLECLUSE, handwritten address to 'Place de la Mairie, Valence (Vaucluse)' and signature 'Mary B. Bonnabaudini'.
