Panoramic view of the Mandailles cirque in the Cantal, with snow-capped peaks and cultivated slopes. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated 18.5.38, addressed to 'Chers Amis', mentioning a walk at the Cirque d'Auvergne and memories of snow. The stamp and postmark are visible.
