View of the ruined castle dating from the 12th century, belonging to the Chambe family and then to the d'Estaing family until 1770, purchased by Count de Lagariaye in 1890. Printed text on the front details the history of the castle. Back: French postage stamp of 20 centimes, handwritten date '14-8-25', address to Madame Seguy in Vincennes, and sender's signature 'Marcel'.
