View of the ruined Château de Tournoel in Auvergne, with a mountainous and forested landscape in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maurin in Nogent-sur-Marne (Seine), with a 40-centime stamp and a postmark from Montreuil (Val-de-Marne) on August 15, 1908.
