Description

Black and white view of a waterfall in a rocky canyon, with a small metal bridge spanning the stream. The printed text at the bottom reads 'Auvergne 28. The Cascade of Pas de la Cère'. On the reverse, handwritten blue text and an address to Château Gaillard (Villeurbanne, near Lyon). A 15-centime French Republic stamp is affixed, with a cancellation of 'MONTAUVILLER' dated August 26, 1924.
