Colored view of the ruined castle of Tournoël in Auvergne, with a twilight sky and trees in the foreground. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 28-6-11, addressed to Madame Piroird in Lyon, with the inscription 'D'ici un bon souvenir et les amitiés' signed by Eugénie. French 10-centime postage stamp and postmark from Château-Gaillard (Châtillon-sur-Loire) dated 29-6-1909.
