Description

Postcard showing the ruins of Lavardin Castle, dating from the 12th, 14th and 15th centuries, with a handwritten inscription on the front indicating 'The dwelling was rather white'. The back contains a handwritten letter dated 29 March 1921, addressed to Megdelérie, describing the beauty of the place and the desire to return. A postmark is applied and the cancellation is visible.
