Black and white view of an alpine village nestled in a valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 23, 1964, sent from Saint-Paul-aux-Bois (Ain) to Monsieur d'Allé Salong, mentioning a hike in the Alps. French 20 franc postage stamp canceled in Hiven.
