View of the turn of the Pas de l'Escalette in Le Caylar, with a winding path ascending rocky cliffs. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Monsieur Érmond Candier in Amberièlliers (Seine), accompanied by two stamps (25c and 51c) and a cancellation from Tangier.
