Description

Postcard showing the Expiatory Chapel of the Field of the Martyrs in Quiberon, surrounded by pines. The printed text recalls that 207 royalists were shot here for having attempted to overthrow the Republic. On the reverse, a green 5-centime stamp, cancellation 'BAYONNE', and a handwritten address to Madame Genson in Saint-Brieuc.
