Description

Postcard in two views showing Avricourt Castle: the first, dated March 13, 1917, shows it intact; the second, taken on the morning of March 14, shows it destroyed by the Germans. The reverse has a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Bon Donniers in Bonnans-le-Tugeelier, with a 40-centime stamp and a postmark from Béthune dated April 29, 1918.
