Black and white view of Cheverny Castle, showing its south facade with slate roofs and carved ornaments. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Éditions de Luxe Estel & Cie', an address in Paris, and a French 8 franc stamp postmarked 'SOMMUR (Maine-et-Loire)' on 12/11/1941. The handwritten address is directed to 'Mme Lecherousse' at the Ministry of Public Works in Paris.
