Black and white view of the main facade of Valençay Castle, with its Renaissance architecture and characteristic dome, surrounded by hedge gardens. On the reverse, printed text describing the castle as one of the largest residences in France, built on elevated ground overlooking the Nahan Valley, and mentioning the residence of the famous Duke of Talleyrand. The postcard bears the serial number 36.
