View of the Hotel-Dieu in Le Creusot, an imposing building behind a metal fence, under a cloudy sky. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated June 27, 1914, addressed to 'My dear Love,' mentioning an injured soldier and family news. The publisher 'J.G.' is visible at the top right of the front.
