Description

Black and white view of the port of La Baule with moored boats, buildings lining the quay, and a church with a steeple in the background. Printed text on the facades: 'HOTEL AZAIDIE', 'BATOUBERIE', 'CAFÉ DU PORTIC'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 23, 1968, sent from La Baule to Saint-Jacques, mentioning the weather and fishing. 15 franc postage stamp of the French Republic, cancellation 'LA BAULE 3EME DIMANCHE AOUT 1968'.
