Historical view of Le Crotoy in the 13th century, depicting a lively port with ships and a fortified city. Printed text at the bottom: 'What do you see, a good people — Pient to God that the fult so happy — Monque of the airar my ways that the paile be covered in this country'. Reverse: handwritten message 'Best regards and good friendships' addressed to 'Mademoiselle Yardin, 2 Rue de l'Amidouerie, Lille (Nord)', 3-franc postage stamp and Strasbourg postmark of 15-8-1957.
