Bust portrait of General LIAUTHEY in military uniform adorned with decorations, wearing a white-plumed képi and a cape. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated November 26, 1900, addressed to someone in Paris, mentioning the Patriotic Gallery and observations on the situation in Morocco. The stamp and postmark are visible at the bottom right.
