View of Le Havre port at the beginning of the 20th century, showing the entrance to the new port with a crowded wooden dock, a work boat in the middle of the water, and a lighthouse in the background. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to San Francisco, with a 12-centime French postage stamp and a Le Havre postmark dated May 17, 1908.
