View of the north dike of Le Havre under stormy weather, with waves crashing violently against the quay and pedestrians in the distance. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to 'M. Davie' in Nevers, with a green 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Le Havre dated 18 June 1919.
