Panoramic view of the village of Lautaret nestled at the foot of snow-capped mountains, with scattered buildings in a green Alpine landscape. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 20, 1949, sent to Monsieur Tonin in Marseille, mentioning a stay in the mountains and scarce food supplies.
