Description

Black and white panoramic view of the village of Le Lavandou (Var) with its houses and vegetation in the foreground, and a large body of water (probably the Gulf of Saint-Tropez) in the background. On the reverse, a postcard sent in 1932 from La Garoupe to Paris, with a blue 40-centime stamp and a cancellation from La Garoupe dated 15-12-1932. The handwritten message mentions a French naval avis, the « Aviso Scarpe », and a visit to Toulon.
