Description

View of the Paixhans Barracks in Le Mans, with a main building and side wings, soldiers in military uniform standing in front of the entrance. On the reverse, a postcard dated November 19, 1916, sent to M. Rouxls in Cherbourg, with a 2.50 franc postage stamp and handwritten text mentioning a departure for aviation in Paris and a stay in Germany.
