View of Le Mans Cathedral, south side, featuring its imposing Gothic tower dating from the 11th and 14th centuries, 66 meters high, and its porch known as the Cavalier. The printed text mentions that the tower contains 8 bells cast by MM. Bollée and Julien, including the heaviest bell weighing 6432 kg. The reverse contains a handwritten letter addressed to Thérèse, signed by A. Rossard, with the publisher's address: 'imp. Phot. A. Boibeaud, 6, Rue Auvray, Le Mans'.
