View of the floating laundry boat on the Sarthe in Le Mans, with the Saint-Benoît church and the rooftops of the city in the background. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame J. Foncault in Châtellerault (Vienne), dated September 11, 1917, with a 5-franc stamp and a Sarthe cancellation.
