Religious scene depicting Christ's sepulchre in the 17th century, behind an ornate grille, with several figures in old-fashioned clothing. Printed text at the bottom: 'LE MANS. — 17th Century Christ's Sepulchre'. On the reverse, handwritten address to Henry Grigni in Paris, 50 centimes postage stamp, and postmark from Sarthe dated 23-10-1901.
