Bronze statue of surgeon midwife René Levasseur, Conventionnel of Sarthe (1747-1834), representative of the people to the Northern Armies in 1793, on a base adorned with low reliefs. The reverse bears a handwritten correspondence dated July 13, 1913, sent from Le Mans to Cambaouy, with a mention of the visit to the monument and an address to Mme Lecoy. A French postmark from 1913 is affixed at the bottom right.
