Description

Statue of General Chanzy on a base adorned with a bas-relief by Groisy, erected in 1885 to commemorate the defense of Le Mans in 1871. The back features handwritten correspondence dated August 31, 1922, addressed to Madame and Monsieur Salinier at Château d'Artifeld (Gard), with a 5-centime postage stamp and a cancellation from Béziers.
