Description

Black and white view of the port of la Garette in Le Marais Poitevin, with several boats moored along the edge of a pond surrounded by dense vegetation. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 6, 1923, addressed to a 'dear little sister', mentioning an illness and a visit to la Garette. The stamp and cancellation are illegible.
