Description

Engraving depicting an intimate scene with several characters dressed in 18th-century fashion in a richly decorated setting. The title « THE MARRIAGE CONFESSOR » is printed at the bottom. On the reverse, the handwritten address is intended for « Madame... » in Campagnac (Corrèze), with the date « 27 » and the postmark « CRAPHIL ».
