Description

Black and white panoramic view of the Grande-Chartreuse convent, seen from the west side, with its aligned buildings and surrounding wall beneath a wooded hill. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Legrand, 210bis Avenue Daumesnil, Paris, with a stamp and postmark from Sainte-Adresse Post Office dated July 28, 1908.
