Description

Black and white view of a waterfall in a dense forest, with a small wooden balcony fixed to the rocky wall. The printed text at the bottom reads 'Le Mont-Dore — Le Plat à barbe'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter to Jean Baslé in Saint-Mandé, dated November 25th, 1908, mentions rainy weather and the desire to go to Saint-Mandé. A red 10-centime stamp is affixed, canceled with a circular postmark of 'SAINT-ANDÉOL-DE-GRANDE-CHAUSSÉE'.
