Description

View of Mont-Saint-Michel at low tide, with a horse-drawn carriage crossing the sands. Printed text at the top describes the service between Genets and Mont-Saint-Michel. Reverse: 70-centime postal stamp, cancellation from VILLERS-SUR-SEINE (78) dated 8 July 1939, and handwritten message addressed to Madame Leon Calliet in Bontigny (Seine-et-Oise).
