Description

View of Mont-Saint-Michel from the southeast side, with the imposing silhouette of the abbey and buildings perched on the rock. Three men carrying baskets walk in the foreground on the beach. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 25 November 1946, addressed to Madame Chyla Brandon in Paris, with a French postage stamp from 1946 and a Parisian cancellation.
