Black and white aerial view of the village of Le Perthus, at the foot of steep mountains, with scattered houses and terraced fields. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated Wednesday, February 25, 1953, sent from the Spanish border to Paris, with two Spanish stamps (50 and 75 cents) and a postmark from Perpignan.
